CARRIE YERKES, PA-C

Carrie Yerkes is a native of Southern New Jersey. She graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2005 with a BS in Biology. She later  completed Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program in Christiana, Delaware.

She moved to North Carolina in 2010, where she started working at an integrative family practice in rural NC. For the last 4 years, she has worked in integrative medicine helping patients battle Chronic Lyme Disease/Tick-Borne Illness, cancer, heavy metal burden, hormone imbalances, and more. She has been able to preceptor with well-known Lyme-literate physicians: Joseph Jemsek and Richard Horowitz; and has attended the last 3 years of ILADs conferences.

In 2014, she completed training through the Institute of Functional Medicine’s Practitioner Certification Program (IFMCP).
